ummmggggg

well tbh I’m relieved he’s not trying to like blame it on Korra and saying she went berserk??? But that also means that he’s got the entire city riled up and under his thumb. People are more likely to go along with his crazy new laws if they think the Equalists have captured/killed the Avatar.

I wonder what Amon is gonna say lol

“WASN’T ME THIS TIME OMG”

LMAO. Actually though if Amon denied that he had the Avatar I feel like it would play into his hands better because he could be like “Look at the scare tactics your council is drumming up to scare and oppress YOU the non-benders.”

You know what I love about Korra? Is even though she supposedly dislikes Asami for dating Mako she never once suspects Asami of being an Equalist. From start to finish she always gives Asami the benefit of the doubt.

It would be really easy for her to go to her angry place and accuse Asami of being in on the whole plot, or being an Equalist sympathizer, but she doesn’t. Even when Asami is defending her father in the office Korra never says “YOU’RE JUST COVERING FOR HIM!” She realizes that Hiroshi’s faults are his own and that even though Asami is his daughter, it’s possible that she really might not know (which it becomes obvious later that she didn’t). It’s never, “You must be an Equalist because your father is”, it’s always “I’m sorry to tell you, but I think you’re father is an Equalist”.

For a person who is so quick to make snap judgments, I really appreciated how rational and cool Korra was when handling a really delicate situation.
